There are very few deck trusses in western New York, and so although this is a relatively late example of a deck truss, this structure has some local significance. This bridge has a slight arch to its bottom chord.

The Stewart Avenue Bridge is in a very breathtaking location, right at the spot where Fall Creek finally earns its name. Beautiful views can be had from this bridge. A small waterfall is visible upstream, and downstream a stunning view of Ithaca can be had.
