With a top chord forming a complete arch-like shape this beautiful and preserved bridge is unique and unlike a typical Parker truss bridge. The unique shape is because the end posts are much shorter than on a typical Parker truss, and this results in an arch or bowstring-like appearance. This form of Parker truss is exceedingly rare in North America. The bridge is almost reminiscent of European bowstring truss bridges. The builder, Bracket Bridge Company (also known as Bracket Construction Company), is also a noteworthy bridge builder of which few examples remain. The preservation resulted in a very important historic bridge being saved.

Located on a trail system, this bridge was relocated and preserved here for this purpose. The bridge originally was located on Wheelers Mill Road over Little Scioto River in Scioto County, Ohio.
