This bridge is a rare American example of a plate girder bridge with a uniformly curved top chord. The design was far more common in Europe especially the United Kingdom. The Goole Railway Bridge in England is a great European example. In the United States however, the design is rare. This particular bridge serves traffic on what appears to be a private drive. It seems likely that the bridge is a relocated railroad bridge, however it is also possible the girders were originally part of some sort of non-bridge structure, such as in a factory or power plant. The origins and age of the bridge are unknown. It is located on a private driveway.
