This bridge is abandoned and currently connects two fields. It
appears to be a former township bridge that was moved here at some date, likely
by a farmer who wanted easier access to fields. It is a noteworthy example of a
pony truss by the Canton Bridge Company and although some are missing or broken,
displays the combination finial and plaque mounted on the top of the end posts.
Sadly, the bridge is severely deteriorated. This in combination with the heavy
concrete deck that likely is not original is weighing the bridge down, twisting
the trusses, and slowly causing the collapse of the bridge.
