This abandoned, highly deteriorated, and partially collapsed bridge is an extremely unusual small-scale truss bridge whose design details which include cast iron connection pieces resemble something from the earlier era of metal truss construction, suggesting a ca 1870s construction date. Its unusual design has not been associated with a builder. One nearly identical bridge was found in the state of Illinois. The bridge here in Ohio was moved to private property from another location in the 1960s and placed on steel and concrete abutments. The single floor beam and stringers are not original. The trusses however retain integrity of design.
