With an 1893 construction date, this bridge is one of the oldest known (dated) rivet-connected truss bridges in Ontario. For this reason it is highly significant. Wright and Sons of Hull was the stone contractor for the bridge. McRae and Company supplied cement for the masonry on the bridge. Lengths given are extremely rough estimates.
