This abandoned bridge is an extremely rare surviving example of a pin-connected pony truss bridge in Ontario. Just upstream from an old millpond, this appears to be an abandoned road alignment. It seems the road was rerouted from the south likely to opt out of preforming more costly bridge maintenance and the bridge has since been forgotten.
The bridge appears to have originally had timber railing which is mostly missing. The unusual riveted brackets for the railing remain. Another unusual feature is the varied design of vertical members.
