This bridge is an outstanding example of a concrete arch bridge in Ontario. The bridge was designed with substantial aesthetic details including ornate balustrade railings, with a flared detail at the ends, at which point the railings become a solid paneled railing design. On the arch under the railing there is a crenelated detail. The arch bridge was sensitively rehabilitated in 2003 at which time deteriorated railing balusters were replaced in kind with replicas.
