View Environmental Assessment For This Bridge

This bridge is an excellent example of a bridge displaying the double-intersection Warren truss configuration, a generally uncommon truss configuration that is more common in Ontario than other places. The bridge is also noteworthy for its historic integrity, as the bridge is largely unaltered. It is further significant as a documented example of a bridge built by the prominent Dominion Bridge Company. Overall the bridge is in good condition, but some areas of rust and some failed lateral bracing under the deck could be dealt with at some point to ensure the continued longevity of this heritage bridge. The bridge retains original lattice railings.
