This is a footbridge that is very narrow even by footbridge standards. It has the appearance of a stone bridge, although it has a long, shallow arched span that is far more shallow than a true stone arch would be. A look under the bridge reveals the truth, since the bottom chord of a steel girder is visible, as well as transverse steel floorbeams. This indicates that this is a plate girder bridge that is encased with a stone facing. This also explains why the railings for this bridge are so thick: they are not just railings, but they conceal the steel girder within.
This bridge was built in 1953, which is related by the "keystone" at the center of the bridge with "1953" on it.
There are three bridges in Webster's Falls Park: the Cobblestone Bridge, this stone-faced steel girder bridge, and a concrete rigid-frame bridge.
