Much like the Island Park Bridge, this bridge appears to have originally been built for pedestrian use only. It is indeed an old bridge, as seen by the wood plank outlines that show that plywood was not used for the frame to pour the concrete of the bridge into. The bridge is a single span concrete arch bridge. It connects a park and a school building, which may have been its original intended purpose. One of the coolest things about this bridge is the unique star-like design for the railings. It is refreshingly different and attractive. One of the guardrail panels has had a piece of plywood placed over it, as seen in the last panel on the right end in the above photograph; perhaps someone damaged that panel or something. Otherwise, the bridge appears to be in good condition!
