This is a fairly large and impressive stone arch span. It is a semicircular stone arch. It crosses both Noble Road and East Branch Octoraro Creek. Particularly on the creek end of the bridge, the arch gives the illusion of being more than a half circle, because the arch rests on stones that taper in slightly and give the illusion of a continuing curve. This bridge was part of the Pennsylvania Railroad's Atglen and Susquehanna line.
