This was a rare riveted multi-span pedestrian truss footbridge, and its spans were set at angles to each other. Two of the three spans were connected in a continuous fashion. The bridge went over a rail yard that has been relocated. This bridge has been removed, reportedly the spans were put in storage for reuse in a new location. In 2014, news articles stated that the spans might be moved to Northwest Lancaster County River Trail in Conoy Township or Farmingdale Trail in East Hempfield Township but as of 2021 is it not known if this ever happened.
