This bridge consists of two seven panel through truss spans that are skewed at the pier. The bridge is noted for the excellent historic integrity. Although the bridge has surface rust, very little section loss or pack rust was visible, even down by the bearings where there is often deterioration. An unusual and more recent feature of this bridge is that a sidewalk was installed for the public to cross the bridge, unusual for active railroad bridges. However this feature had been closed and blocked off during the HistoricBridges.org field visit. The bridge is a contributing structure to a National Register Historic District in Oil City.
