This beautiful multi-span through truss was replaced with a modern slab of concrete with no beauty whatsoever. It is deeply disappointing that this bridge will not be left standing next to its replacement. Left standing, the bridge could have served as a pedestrian crossing, and a linear park. Depending on which news article is referenced, the bridge either dates to 1922 or 1927.
