This is a unique continuous through truss with unusual design details that has been bypassed and abandoned. Unusual features include simple diagonal braces, or perhaps better described as a diagonal section of bottom chord, extending from the piers to the horizontal bottom chord. At the main vertical posts over the piers, there are outriggers. Outriggers are usually only found on pony truss bridges. There also is a sloped longitudinal series of beams alongside the bridge which appear to have been for a pipeline that has been removed.
