This bridge was a large railroad bridge with many spans. Today, all that remains are the piers and the main truss span over the river. All the approach spans are gone, which were Warren deck truss spans, were removed in
1962-1963. The main span remains noteworthy however as a fishbelly style deck truss, which is uncommon. This bridge was built in 1908 as indicated on the concrete piers. The previous bridge at this location was a lightweight metal deck
truss on stone piers and was built in 1879.
