This is a traditional railroad through truss bridge with a Warren configuration. Lengths given are estimates. The bridge has a very long approach system over floodplain. The approach system is a seemingly random mixture of plate girders (not all the same size), timber stringers (supported by timber bents and the occassional random massive concrete pier), and even some steel stringers. The main span substructure is unusual as well. One pier appears to have been adapted from a previous bridge and includes a rare brick design that is (for unknown reasons) more popular in the American south (moreso in the deep south of Alabama and Georgia) vs any other part of the country. The other pier was replaced, and to do so two piers were built, with steel stringers spanning between them forming a platform for that end of the truss to rest on. In short, while the truss is traditional (and has details suggesting a mid 20th century construction date), the approaches and substructure are fairly bizarre due to this variety of alterations.
