This bridge has an impressive arch span that rises above the roadway and includes overhead struts. It is one of several rare concrete rainbow arch bridges on this stretch of US-101 along the eastern Olympic Peninsula. It is different from the other two examples that include overhead struts in that this example functions as a tied arch instead of a three hinged arch. This bridge also includes concrete deck girder approach spans. The bridge retains excellent historic integrity with no major alterations noted.
