This bridge is a traditionally composed riveted truss bridge in Iowa. It includes a Warren pony truss approach span at the western end, and a steel stringer approach span at the eastern end. The bridge likely dates to the 1920s or 1930s and is likely built to a standard plan. The bottom chord is bent in one spot, and there have been a few alterations in the form of added metal bolted onto the bridge, but otherwise the bridge retains integrity.
