Although Frederick County is noted for historic bridge preservation, this state owned bridge has been badly neglected and abused. It has been abused because some DOT clown put Armco guardrail right over the bridge plaque making most of it unreadable. If Armco is added to a bridge where a plaque is located, the plaque should always be relocated.
