The National Bridge Inventory had a 1949 construction date listed for this bridge. The bridge appears to in reality date to ca. 1915-1925 based on style/design. It is not clear if the 1949 date is a pure error, or if the bridge was relocated and reused here in 1949 for example. In either case, the Historic Bridge Inventory did not even review this bridge because they made the grevious error of assuming dates in the National Bridge Inventory are always accurate. That is very unwise, as errors are frequent.
This bridge has some unusual welded additions and alterations on the top chord. Floor beams have been replaced.
