This bridge is a somewhat uncommon example of a highway deck plate girder in New York State. It has been rehabilitated, and while the original railings have been lost, and the deck has been redone, the plate girders and the substructure appears to retain historic integrity. The bridge have four simple spans and the two center spans are longer and thus have deeper girders. None of the girder spans contain any variable depth (curved) design often seen in highway bridges.
